You scan the e-ticket for the ride. When travelling by train, you can use your e-ticket to open ticket gates at stations. When travelling by bus, you scan your e-ticket on the bus if possible. If this is not possible, you show the bus driver your ticket. When scanning your e-ticket, the driver or ticket inspector will see that it is valid.
